Sales Development Representative (B2B Telesales)
Location: Remote
Salary: £24,000 basic. Realistic year 1 OTE £35,000 - £40,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00
Our client provides specialist services helping businesses across the UK with Health & Safety and Employment Law software solutions; and they have never been more in demand.
As a result, they are looking to expand their business development & sales team. This is a company that prides itself on high levels of customer service, professional conduct, and a friendly working environment, where the workplace philosophy is "everyone is on the same team".
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Contacting new prospects via phone (cold calling self-generated leads)
- Identifying the needs of prospects through use of active listening and effective questioning
- Maintain awareness and understanding of the market and competitors
- Handling objections throughout the sales process
- Ensure a healthy pipeline of opportunities to meet short- and medium-term targets
- Minimum of 2 year New Business Sales experience
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years New Business Sales experience (essential)
- Demonstrable track record of securing new business and meeting targets
- Persuasive and confident communicator
- The ability to listen and interpret customer requirements
- A resilient self-starter with a focus on results
- Able to sense what will help or hinder a sale, and take action accordingly
